Visiting Docklands

ASC users and potential users are welcome to visit and view our Docklands facilities. Please contact one of CSIRO ASC Support staff to arrange your visit.

If you are visiting CSIRO ASC Docklands by car, then you can park under our building. Access is via the lane way (Aurora Lane) that runs (parallel to Wurundjeri Way) off Bourke St (west), entry opposite South side of Telstra Dome. The next closest car parking is at Telstra Dome or World Trade Centre car parks.

For public transport users - If you are travelling by train, Southern Cross (Spencer St) station is next door to us. Take the Collins St exit and turn right. If you are travelling by tram, the Collins St (west end 31) tram stops right outside the building. Alternatively, there are a number of trams from both directions that stop close to the corner of Collins and Spencer St.

Enter the building from Collins Street, go to the Bureau's reception desk to the right of the painting, and arrange for a security pass. Then go to the western bank of lifts. Enter the lifts (labelled Bureau of Meteorology) and go to the 11th Floor.

On the 11th floor, go to the western end of the lobby, and on the 'phone dial 8102 to speak to Robert Bell. If the 'phone is engaged, try one of the other ASC staff members.
